Researchers in Sri Lanka discover a fruit and vegetable to control cancer

Research conducted in Sri Lanka has shown that the acids contained in bitter gourd and pomegranate seeds can be used to control cancer.
The discovery was made by a group of scientists of the Faculty of Agriculture of the Peradeniya University.
Speaking to Newsfirst Professor Anura Jayasuriya of Veterinary Science, Faculty of the Peradeniya University and a Member of the Research Team said that they are now focussing their attention on how to develop the effect of these acids.
